DESCRIPTION

Why does the sky move with circular motion?
What about everything that lives inside the sky?
What is the intelligence that holds everything together in this perfect rotation?

From these questions comes Nell’Infinito C’entro, a performance dedicated to rotating dance, an ancient and present practice, widespread in different cultures as a form of connection between spirit, mind, body and the universe.

This work stems from a desire to explore its deeper meaning, offering a contemporary reading of it in which mysticism and everyday life dialogue. Rotation, is in the nature of all manifestation: from the smallest atom to the galaxies, everything rotates. And in this rotation, everything is included.

On stage, a dancer traverses an alchemical journey from earth to heaven, a gradual journey from the periphery to the center of her own heart. A heart in which resides a silent freedom that seeks no explanation.
It is a soaring journey to the infinity that inhabits us, remaining firmly anchored in our center.

In Infinity I’m in invites the audience to an immersive and poetic experience, enveloping them in the magic of rotation and the profound feeling of belonging to a Whole that spins together.

Dance performance

Technical requirements:
– Minimum stage space: 5 x 5 meters
– Floor: flat, clean, non-slip – preferably black or neutral or wooden (no carpet)
– Performance space: suitable for theater, gallery, unconventional space, empty room
– Solo performance: 1 dancer on stage
– Duration: 55 minutes
– Audience: frontal or arranged in a circle, depending on space



Audio
– Music on USB media or digital file (.mp3/.wav)
– Playback via standard sound system possible
– No live audio direction required (music in continuous play)



Lights
– Basic required:
– soft ambient light or a central wash (warm or neutral)
– possible soft backlighting
– No special effects required
– A shaper
– Performance can also adapt to spaces with fixed or non-theatrical lighting
– Site-specific version: adapts to natural or ambient light

Note: The performance can be repurposed to specific contexts, even in a reduced form or in non-theatrical spaces, after evaluation with the company.



Logistics and technicians
– On stage: 1 performer
– On-site technicians required:
– 1 audio/lighting liaison for pre-show
– Assembly time: 1.5 hours
– Dismantling: 30 minutes
– Hall access: minimum 3 hours before the performance
